EU senker grenseverdien for uorganisk arsen
EU senker grenseverdien for tillatt mengde uorganisk arsen i ris og endrer grenseverdier for arsen i andre risbaserte produkter, morsmelkerstatning, barnemat, fruktjuicer og salt. Det er først og fremst uorganisk arsen som er helseskadelig og det er klassifisert som kreftfremkallende for mennesker.
Grenseverdiene i Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915 of 25 April 2023 on maximum levels for certain contaminants in food and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 (Text with EEA relevance) er som følger:
